From the Main Idea:

Everyone is afraid of failure these days.

Students are worried that a botched grade means being barred from that perfect college. 

For principals and teachers, delivering less than stellar test scores and grades brings fears of the wrath of parents, the district, or even the state.

Both Black Box Thinking: Why Most People Never Learn From Their Mistakes-But Some Do and The Gift of Failure: How the Best Parents Learn to Let Go So Their Children Can Succeed show us how and why it is essential to learn from failure.

    

The first is a book summary that is primarily for school leaders and the second is a BookBit to use for a book group with parents.
